Out-of-Network and Non-Insured/Private Pay Patient Scenarios
At Hemlock Clinic, we understand that healthcare needs don’t always align perfectly with insurance coverage. Here are some common situations in which patients may choose to seek care with us outside of their insurance network:
1. Change in Insurance Coverage
Some of our long-term patients experience changes in insurance—often due to job transitions—that result in us being out-of-network. In these cases, many still choose to continue their care with Dr. Sran and our clinic due to the trusted, personalized care they’ve come to value.
2. Visiting Family Members Needing Care
We often care for visiting family members or relatives staying in the United States for extended periods. These individuals may need routine check-ups, testing, or prescription refills during their stay, and we are happy to assist with their temporary healthcare needs.
3. International Patients with Travel Insurance
Some international patients carry travel insurance that does not fully cover certain medical evaluations or treatments. We work with these patients to offer clear options and transparent pricing for uncovered services.
4. Non-Covered Vaccinations and Services
There are occasions when a patient may require specific vaccinations or preventive services that are not covered by their insurance provider. In such cases, we can still provide the needed care and offer out-of-pocket pricing as needed.
